Swimming in situ
The technology built into the E550 has to be seen, or perhaps more accurately felt, to be believed. Where a standard spa pool is capable of moving 2,000-3,000L of water per minute, the hydraulically-powered propulsion system found in the E550 generates a current of up to 19,000L/min.
The sheer weight of this current allows it to be deeper and wider than whichever stroke you choose, while conditioning grills ensure it is a 100% laminar and turbulence-free flow. It feels exactly like swimming in a perfectly still pool, but one that never requires a tumble turn because it never ends!
To swim or to run?
The E550 offers unmatched levels of hydrotherapy and aquacise, with the swim in place experience just one string to this model’s bow. An optional underwater treadmill grants you the opportunity to enjoy low impact walking or running, perfect for those who suffer joint and muscle pain. Want more of a challenge? Add increasing levels of resistance to your workout by turning on the current!
And just because the seating is removed, it doesn’t mean that you miss out on heavenly hydromassage. The E550 features 23 individual jets, strategically positioned in the corners of the swim spa to deliver a soothing stand-up massage, perfect for warming up before exercise or cooling down after.
Beautiful and built to last
With a frame made from super strong 2mm steel, and further strengthened by a base pan made from ultra-durable plastic, the E550 is built to last, and can even protect itself against unreliable foundations (although you should always position your swim spa in a spot that is capable of taking its rather significant weight.)
