Massage for five

Five contoured seats are found within the Excursion Premier, including three bench seats, a luxurious bucket seat with its own feet jets, and a full-length recliner that stretches out across the entirety of one side. Every one of these seats features its own array of hydromassage jets - of which there are 25 in all - from the trio of streams found on each of the bench seats, to the full body massage delivered by the recliner. Equally ready for weekday relaxation, Friday night socialising or family fun, there’s no bad seat in this house.

It’s as difficult to know where to begin with the feature list of the Excursion Premier as where to end, such is its length. This is all the more surprising for the fact that this model is actually part of the Freeflow collection - Hot Spring’s entry-level range.

It begins with the aforementioned recliner, where eight individual hydromassage jets focus their attention on key areas of the back and legs. There’s the multicoloured LEDs that light the water from below, allowing you to create whatever atmosphere you choose. Then there are the creature comforts - the twin integrated pillows that let you lean back, and the built-in chilly bin that ensures the fun continues to flow.

The full foam insulation of the Excursion Premier might be the forgotten hero of this spa pool. Certified to California Energy Commission guidelines, an organisation who sets the regulatory bar for spa pool efficiency, this model has been designed to keep the heat in and the cold out, leading to far lower power bills than other spas.
